This position is considered weather essential personnel. Keep shop area and equipment clean and in good working order. Operates forklift Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers. Ability to read and follow instructions. Demonstrated communication and organizational skills… Working knowledge of cleaning and cutting of steel. Skill in running all hand tools, sledge hammers, grinders, power tools, airless paint guns/sprayers, sand blasting, and forklifts. Ability to work safely around power equipment and heavy hand tools. Ability to read a tape measure Required Qualifications Valid driver's license High school or GED is required. Physical Demands Rarely performs sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Constantly performs light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Constantly performs medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally performs heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more. Environmental Conditions Works in low temperatures during colder seasons. Works in high temperatures during warmer seasons. Works in outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. Works in noisy environments Works in hazardous conditions.
