We are hiring motivated individuals to support our Protein and Pet Food operations. At Pilgrim's, Safety Is A Condition — the safety of our team members always comes first. Position Overview Pet Food / Protein Laborers are responsible for operating machinery, performing manual labor, and supporting production processes in accordance with USDA and Pilgrim's standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate machinery and perform manual labor tasks as assigned Process product according to established procedures and quality/quantity expectations Observe equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist team members by sharing knowledge and skills gained from the position Follow all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies Maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork Recognize and act on safety risks; consistently practice and enforce safe work habits Participate in process improvement and problem-solving using continuous improvement methods Follow all company animal welfare guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contributions Better Futures Program - 2-year community college tuition paid for you or your dependent Career advancement opportunities EOE , including disability/Vets
