CITY OF NIAGARA - PUBLIC WORKS LABORER/OPERATOR/MECHANIC POSITION AVAILABLE

The City of Niagara has a full-time position available in the Public Works department, effective immediately. Duties include general labor, heavy equipment operation, maintenance of streets, parks, cemetery, storm sewers and snow plowing. Mechanical experience needed. A minimum of Class B CDL is preferred, but will consider sponsoring training for a qualified applicant. A benefit package is provided. Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Typical work hours are M-F from 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed. Must be willing to work call-in and weekend hours as necessary. A pre-employment drug test and physical will be required, with random drug testing conducted.
