Job Description

Supply Chain Manager Sierra Vista, AZ Onsite Permanent/Direct Hire Full Benefits Relocation Assistance Available $145,000-160,000 pus bonus This is an outstanding opportunity for a supply chain leader with experience in mining, heavy industrial, manufacturing, construction, or capital projects who enjoys improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, optimizing inventory, negotiating supplier agreements, and leading high-performing teams. Responsibilities Develop and execute supply chain strategies supporting operations, maintenance, construction, and capital projects. Lead procurement, sourcing, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics operations. Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting, ABC analysis, and inventory optimization initiatives. Reduce obsolete inventory while improving working capital performance. Manage inbound and outbound logistics, freight providers, and transportation performance. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier benchmarking, spend analysis, and cost reduction programs. Manage RFQs, supplier selection, contract negotiations, contract administration, and renewals. Oversee ERP supply chain functions including procurement, receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and vendor master maintenance. Develop KPI dashboards and management reporting. Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure material availability. Support shutdown planning, major maintenance events, and capital project execution. Develop supplier performance programs and long-term supplier partnerships. Lead and mentor supply chain personnel while promoting safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. 7-10+ years of progressive Supply Chain leadership experience. Experience in Mining, Heavy Industrial, Manufacturing, Construction, or Capital Projects preferred. Proven success leading procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives. Experience managing inventory assets exceeding $1 million. Strong supplier negotiation and contract management experience. ERP systems experience. Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
