About the role We are seeking a Material Buyer / Supply Chain Specialist for a long-term contract at a power plant in Tonopah, AZ. In this role, you will focus on physical material procurement. You will issue RFQs, expedite critical parts, and review commercial Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) to prevent inventory shortages and keep plant operations running seamlessly. This is a hybrid position, 2 days remote, 2 days onsite. Holidays + PTO+ sick days+ insurance Qualifications 3- 5 years of Purchasing/Material Buyer/Supply Chain/Procurement experience. Must have experience with cost-effective, efficient administrative support to supply chain operations and coordinate daily operations/programs/processes within the materials and services supply chain for specific assessments such as commodity(ies), contracts, and programs . Expedite supplies, identifies actual and potential delivery problems. Must have experience negotiating contracts, terms and conditions, managing with vendors and drafting contracts. Relevant BS/BA degree is required with 3-5 years' materials or services purchasing or supply chain experience required Must be able to pass drug test and background (Criminal, MVD, Education and verification of employment) LOCAL candidates, this position does not have relocation or PD.
