The Business Data and Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, improving reporting capabilities, and driving process automation across Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Planning, and Sales Operations. This role serves as a key resource for digital transformation initiatives by presenting automated reporting solutions, maintaining critical SAP master data, and delivering actionable analytics that support operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with material distribution and manufacturing knowledge to streamline business processes, improve data integrity, reduce manual tasks, and enhance organizational visibility through dashboards and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence & Analytics Create KPIs and performance metrics for inventory, planning, forecasting, and sales performance. Provide analytical data platforms to facilitate insight into trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and operational improvements. Translate complex data into meaningful visualizations. Reduce manual data entry and reporting effort through workflow optimization and system integration. Lead continuous improvement digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability. Reporting & Operational Support to include:
Inventory Management Raw Material Distribution Demand and Production Planning Sales Planning and Forecasting Stock Status and Availability Master Data Management & Governance:
Ensure master data accuracy, completeness, and compliance across departments and within SAP and other platforms. Define and enforce data standards, validation rules, and automated controls. Maintain documentation related to master data processes, workflows, and business rules.
Document Management & Workflow Automation:
Maintain and improve document management and retention processes. Develop Outlook automation solutions for email routing, filing, categorization, and archiving. Link supporting documents to master records and operational reporting systems. Improve accessibility and organization of operational documentation. Support digital records management and compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience:
3 min, 5+ years (preferred) of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, planning, or related operational environments. Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems (required). Experience developing reporting solutions, dashboards, and automated workflows. Experience supporting supply chain, inventory, planning, or manufacturing operations.

Salary range:
$75,000 - $85,000 Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(k) with employer match
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
