The Senior Inventory & Supply Planner is responsible for executing inventory and supply planning processes across assigned business areas, ensuring alignment with demand, production, and financial targets. This role develops and maintains supply plans, manages inventory strategies using DRP/MRP methodologies, and partners cross-functionally to identify risks, resolve constraints, and support S&OP outcomes, while driving data-driven improvements in service, cost, and inventory performance. This role works independently on complex assignments, leads projects or processes, and provides guidance and coaching to others within the job area. This role provides flexibility to work in a hybrid environment of home and our Westlake Village, CA office. (Hybrid is defined as 3 times per week in the office).
Responsibilities:
Primary Accountabilities:
Execute short‑ and long‑term supply and inventory planning processes across the network, ensuring alignment with demand, financial targets, and service objectives. Develop and maintain supply plans that balance inventory, capacity, and cost across multiple sites and distribution points. Manage inventory replenishment strategies using DRP/MRP methodologies to optimize service levels, working capital, and inventory turns. Partner cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Operations, and Finance to analyze forecast performance, identify risks, and support mitigation plans. Maintain and apply inventory planning assumptions, including safety stock and service levels, to drive consistent decision-making. Prepare insights, scenario analyses, and recommendations to support S&OP and Supply Review processes. Monitor and analyze planning KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities to improve service, cost, and inventory performance. Maintain system parameters and planning data to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of planning outputs. Support process improvements that enhance planning efficiency, standardization, and cross-functional alignment. Serve as a planning resource and trusted partner across supply chain and business teams. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:
4-6+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, engineering, or a related field Foundational understanding of supply chain planning concepts, including inventory management, forecasting, or production planning Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and draw insights Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or planning tools is a plus Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions What You'll Need to

Education & Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred Equivalent combination of education, internships, co-ops, or relevant work experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.

Hiring Pay Scale:
$90,000 to $105,000 Dole Packaged Foods is committed to paying our Associates fairly and equitably. The pay rate offered will consider a wide range of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, accomplishments, and location. Pay scales are subject to review on a regular basis and will be updated as appropriate.
