Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Essential Functions):
  • Monitor proper inventory level to meet Monthly inventory targets. Works with suppliers to reduce excess or obsolete stock.
  • Identify and investigate call offs volume variations with sites planners.
  • Ensure sites MRP planning parameters aligned with Corp directives with sites.
  • Coordinate MRP re-set activities with sites for key suppliers.
  • Ensure call offs visible to key suppliers (EDI or Supply web portal).
  • Monitor sites phase in/out components call offs to avoid shortages or obsolescence.
  • Launch programs monitor with sites and suppliers have at least next 12 months visibility in ERP.
  • Coordinate activities with sites, commodity and suppliers related wtih "special projects" Spot PO, dual sourcing, Last time buy.
  • Sites first point of contact to manage shortages and carry out recovery plans with suppliers, commodity, electronics house of competence and sites
  • Notify Suppliers if increases are made without adequate lead time (each supplier terms and conditions). Ensure that supplier can meet the new release increases, if supplier can't meet releases execute escalation process.
  • Support escalation process.
  • Maintain Weekly communications with each new supplier added for each project launch, until MP&L expectations are covered.
  • Follow up cost recovery activities related with Supply Chain topics with suppliers, commodity and sites.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor degree (Preferable in SCM)
  • Similar role experience (In Automotive or Electronics for Automotive market)
  • Planning logistics experience with suppliers in Asia and Europe.
  • MRP SAP proficient knowledge.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc).
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
