Position Type:

Temporary with Potential for Full-Time Hire Express is working with a Distribution Center in Mendota, IL who is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Administrator to join their team. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become a full-time position for the right candidate. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable working with computers and data management systems.

Responsibilities:

Greet and communicate with truck drivers upon arrival. Coordinate and assign dock doors for inbound and outbound shipments. Enter and maintain information in dock management software. Schedule dock appointments with carriers and transportation providers. Utilize Microsoft Excel to track data, maintain records, and generate reports. Support daily shipping and receiving operations. Handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and organization. Provide administrative support to distribution center operations as needed.

Qualifications:

Strong communication and customer service skills. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and data entry. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, or administrative experience is preferred but not required. Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
