full-time Looking to get your foot in the door with a well-established manufacturing organization? We're hiring an Order Management Specialist for a temporary assignment through February in Geneva, IL . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, and cross-functional coordination. In this role, you'll help keep production moving by coordinating schedules, managing customer order priorities, and working closely with Operations, Customer Care, Purchasing, and Quality . What you'll be doing:

  • Create and schedule production batches
  • Coordinate expedite and delay requests based on customer needs
  • Communicate production schedules and changes across teams
  • Work with Purchasing to expedite or delay raw materials
  • Expedite orders through the system when possible
  • Cut and size batches based on order and inventory needs
  • Export and format basic reports from an ERP system
  • Help identify and resolve day-to-day production issues
  • Support cross-functional problem-solving in a collaborative environment What we're looking for:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Comfortable working with numbers, basic arithmetic, and ratios
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • ERP experience is a plus, but not required Why consider it?
