The Global Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator is responsibleforhandling all aspects of import and export compliance to support the fulfillment supply chain.

Work collaboratively with various internal departmentsand external partnerstoprovide guidance and support forlogistics, transportation, and carriers inboundto Rochester Electronicsfulfillment warehouses(both consumption and Free Trade Zone).Ensure compliance with all import and export trade compliance regulations, Department of Commerce, Department of State, and Department of Energy export licenses, and provide guidance and support to identify controlled data and hardware, licensable transactions, classifying, evaluating,and assigning HTUS and ECCN.

Responsibilities GlobalLogistics:

Coordinatewithinternal teams,suppliersand freight partnersto ensureproper paperwork,smooth pickup transaction, air/ocean freightbooking.

Assess anddeterminepropershipping methodbyairfreight,ocean freight,orcourier service using details of shipping location, weight, dimensions,and urgency of product need.

Work closely with global suppliers to resolve any issuesregardingpickup and exportation from supplier countries.

Identifythetype ofimport and deliverylocation fulfillment,(consumptionand FTZ warehouses)Ensureappropriate servicelevels and tracking for all first, middle and final mile delivery operations upon dispatch from all REI Fulfillment, Manufacturing and Corporate facilities and operations.

Communicatetransit informationto internal stakeholdersdaily, processing information from carrier reports.

Monitor all shipments in transit, addressingallproblems that may delay deliveries.

Participate and help tomaintainprofessionalrelationshipsand communicationwithalllogisticsand transportation service providers.

Review and approve all carrier freight invoices, working closely withthe AccountsPayable team.

Trade Compliance:

Prepare, review,and submit FTZ reports to ourbrokerage for both consumption entries, and export shipment.

Assistbusiness partnerstounderstand the risks and consequences of the given situation.

Coordinate and approve international shipmentsin accordance withU.S. trade laws.

Complete visual compliance screenings.

Maintaincompliance due diligence records including Automated Commercial Environment filings and encryption reporting.

Work with our brokerage to confirminformationrequiredfor import clearance.

Responsible formaintaininginventory export information.

File ITN requests.

Review and release export holds on customer orders ifappropriate, alerting customer service if holdcannot be releasedPrepare andsubmitimport paperwork to brokerage partners for incoming shipments.
