Full Job Description Assistant Trailer Logistics Manager F&G Recycling Position Summary:
The Assistant Trailer Logistics Manager is helps coordinate trailer scheduling, track fleet inventory and support daily dispatch operations.
Compensation:
$80,000

Your Role:
Assist with the tracking, utilization, and placement of collection trailers. Ensure trailers are maintained, complaints are addressed, and ready for operational needs. Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and operations. Help with creating efficient routes and schedules for trailer transport. Enforce DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Monitor driver performance. Collaborate with safety on training and incident reporting. Analyze route performance, fuel usage, and maintenance costs. Maintain reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act, and other federal, state, and local standards. Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
Your Skills:
Experience in logistics, fleet management, or transportation operations. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. The environment is fast-paced, and the person in this role must be proactive, hardworking, highly organized, and an independent critical thinker. Proficiency with tracking systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.
