A Transfer Care Specialist is responsible for the respectful, safe, and dignified transportation of deceased individuals from their place of death (such as homes, hospitals, or care facilities) to the funeral home or the morgue.

Key Responsibilities Driving & Navigation:

Operating our vans safely.

Team Coordination:

Communicating clearly with funeral directors to relay vital details and information.

Family Interaction:

Providing compassionate and professional service to grieving families during a sensitive time.

Physical Handling:

Lifting and moving weights often exceeding 100 pounds safely and respectfully.

Compliance:

Adhering strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and state transportation regulations.

Compensation & Schedule Shift Structure:

Primarily overnight shifts based entirely on your personal availability.

Base Pay:

Guaranteed on-call stipend for the days you agree to be available.

Incentive Pay:

A flat payment for every transfer.

Candidate Requirements Proximity:

Must reside within a 20-minute drive of the funeral home facility.

Background:

Must possess a clean driving record and have a valid driver's license.
