Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in logistics, transportation management, and customer relations. This person will assist our brokerage team with quoting, dispatching, carrier communication, and load tracking while learning the fundamentals of freight operation Duties Key Responsibilities Support daily brokerage operations including quoting, order entry, and scheduling shipments Communicate with carriers to confirm availability, negotiate rates, and ensure on-time delivery Track and trace shipments, providing proactive updates to customers and team members Assist with onboarding new carriers, verifying compliance documentation, and maintaining accurate records Prepare internal reports on load status, carrier performance, and cost analysis Collaborate with the sales team to identify new customer opportunities and support account growth Learn and utilize company systems such as McLeod TMS and Highway carrier vetting software Requirements Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience in the transportation industry is preferred but not required Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service!
