Emergency Roadside Dispatcher About the Role Quality Fleet Services is seeking an experienced, reliable, and customer-focused Overnight Emergency Roadside Dispatcher to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for commercial drivers experiencing roadside breakdowns and emergency situations during overnight hours. This position requires someone who is dependable, highly accountable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while making timely, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior dispatching experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to remain calm, organized, and efficient under pressure. This role also offers the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions in addition to hourly pay. Key Responsibilities Answer a high volume of inbound calls from customers requiring emergency roadside assistance. Gather critical information regarding the customer's location, vehicle issue, and any safety concerns. Dispatch mobile diesel mechanics, towing operators, tire service providers, and other roadside vendors quickly and accurately. Monitor active service calls and provide timely updates to customers and service providers. Maintain detailed and accurate records within dispatch software systems. Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, drivers, technicians, and internal team members. Prioritize calls based on urgency, safety, and company procedures. Resolve customer concerns efficiently and escalate issues when necessary. Follow all company safety standards, procedures, and service expectations. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of recent dispatching experience required. Applicants without dispatch experience will not be considered. Experience in emergency roadside assistance, trucking, towing, transportation, logistics, or service dispatching strongly preferred. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized during high-pressure situations. Strong computer skills, including data entry and dispatch management software. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts if required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Experience Experience dispatching mobile diesel mechanics, roadside assistance providers, towing companies, or transportation services. Knowledge of geographic routing and mapping systems. Experience working in a high-volume call center or emergency dispatch environment. Minimum of 1-2 years of dispatching experience required ; applicants without prior dispatch experience will not be considered. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant dispatch experience may be considered.

Strongly preferred:

Experience in emergency roadside assistance, trucking, towing, transportation, logistics, or emergency dispatch environments. Must possess excellent communication, multitasking, computer skills, problem-solving skills, and be able to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
