Essential Duties and Responsibilities Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: At the beginning of the shift, perform the Bakery / Gelato physical count of high-usage items. Calculate and create transfer requests of materials needed for production from the warehouse, dry and freezer locations in a timely manner. Monitor and ensure that frozen items are defrosted in accordance with the established procedures. Monitor and ensure that perishable items are requested, transferred, staged and consumed following the FIFO logic. By the end of the shift, ensure that all materials are staged and verified and all Production Orders are available for the next day production. Verify and reconcile the physical quantity and lot number of materials transferred and/or consumed with the availability in the company ERP system (Navision). Control the materials flow within the production stations and ensure that the correct codes and perishable items for FIFO are brought to the production floor for pasteurization. Coordinate the materials flow for returns to production controlled locations or to stock in the warehouse location. Collect and input daily consumptions and outputs of FGs and reconcile any discrepancies. Print pallet tags daily. Maintain clean and organized inventory within the production storage areas. Assists in cycle count and physical inventory activities. Perform other functions / duties as assigned based on needs. Job Requirements Able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted. Reading / writing (record keeping). Basic mathematical ability (operate scale, read formulas, count, etc.). Ability to communicate using the spoken word. Computer skills (record keeping, reading directions and formulas). Perform other duties as assigned by the Material Coordinator Supervisor. Support the management team by attending meetings and provide insights to upper management when there are challenges in any area of operations. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The employee is seldom exposed to moving tools and/or mechanicals parts.
