$20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sample Coordinator to join our Cosmetics & Personal Care team in Fairfield, NJ. In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of incoming and outgoing product samples, ensuring accurate documentation, tracking, and cross-functional communication. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and eager to learn lab logistics protocols.

Key Responsibilities Sample Coordinator:

Sample Inspection:

Review and verify incoming cosmetics and personal care samples for testing readiness.

Data Management:

Fill out lab sample submission forms with high accuracy.

Inventory Tracking:

Update and maintain comprehensive sample trackers, including holds, chain of custody logs, sample inventory, and shipping records.

Team Collaboration:

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve sample status questions and communication updates.

Logistics Coordination:

Partner daily with shipping logistics teams to manage incoming and outgoing shipments.

Documentation:

Prepare paperwork for both hazardous and non-hazardous sample shipments.

Qualifications of Sample Coordinator:

Experience:

Entry-level; previous experience in a lab, inventory, logistics, or administrative role is a plus.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; scientific background or coursework is beneficial but not mandatory.

Skills:

Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency with data entry/spreadsheets.

Nice-to-Have:

Previous training or familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes is a strong plus.

Reliability:

Ability to work on-site daily at our Fairfield, NJ laboratory.
