Job Description
Job Overview We are a transportation company seeking a detail-oriented and organized Travel Logistics Coordinator to manage travel arrangements for our operators and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of travel/transportation management and logistics, with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments and vendors to ensure smooth travel operations. Duties Coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements, including accommodations, and transportation for drivers and clients. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve travel-related issues efficiently. Manage inventory control related to travel supplies and materials handling. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with company policies and standards. Utilize demand planning techniques to optimize travel schedules and resources. Analyze travel data to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance overall efficiency. Maintain accurate records of travel itineraries, expenses, and related documentation in systems. Support the implementation of new travel policies or systems as needed. Experience Proven experience in a role involving transportation management or logistics is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Experience in data collection methods relevant to travel coordination is beneficial. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
