Founded in 2001, Bendon sells to a variety of mass market, dollar store, grocery, and club retailers.
Job Summary:
We are detail-oriented professional to coordinate the production daily activities of Bendon staff and 3rd party manufacturing operations; and assist in the planning, organizing, assigning, and completion of production related operational and maintenance tasks and functions.
Responsibilities:
Participates with securing best pricing/vendor/production schedules for goods to be produced on a project-by-project basis while maintaining high quality production standards Issues Purchase Orders's for manufactured product to vendors both in the US and China. Maintains communication with vendors and internal customers throughout production process, ensuring that all pre-production and production product sampling, testing and approvals as required by retailers and licensors are met. Ensures that safety product and facility testing/compliance requirements are met per retailer and licensor guidelines. Ensures that direct to customer export shipments are booked on time and in accordance with retailer guidelines or works with others to mitigate production or shipping delays. Acts as central point of contact for warehouse locations; assists the sales department with resolving or mitigating warehousing/order production and fulfillment problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates Degree in the field of Operations, business administration, finance or information systems. Demonstrated professional experience would preclude the need for a Degree. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of operations planning terminology, process flow and basic financial terms. Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly and accurately. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
