Direct Hire Responsibilities:

Plan capacity on cell level. Optimize Schedule to ensure orders meet expected delivery date. Coordinate with Supply Chain. Keep Sales and Customer Service updated on orders. Ensure correct data in ERP system. Manufacturing/Service Production Scheduling work focuses on scheduling production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities including: Selecting and sequencing available resources and required processing to individual work centers or lines Implementing scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime or material/labor shortages Responsible for reviewing the sales orders, ensuring the availability of materials for manufacturing/service to commence production, and coordinating production schedules. Develop and implement production plans to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards. Use engineering plans, contracts, and production specifications to produce schedules and production plans and estimate the human resources, tools, and equipment needed to manufacture products. Monitor production/service activity and analyze production data so that the flow of materials is timed to meet production requirements. Prepare work orders for production/service or purchase requests based on production/service schedules. Evaluate production/service specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads.

Requirements:

One to four years of experience in materials planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred Experience with MRP systems Knowledge of lean manufacturing or six sigma practices is a plus CPIM certification is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication skills, with ability to adapt messaging across departments Capable of responding swiftly and effectively to changing production requirements Experience in a fast-paced environment Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
