— Job Description Inventory & Logistics Supervisor Position Objective Ensure operational control, organization, and reliability of inventory and logistics processes by supervising inventory accuracy, managing product inflow and outflow, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting operational consistency across stores, contributing to loss prevention and financial stability. This position requires fluency in English and Spanish, as the role involves daily communication with staff, suppliers, and customers in both languages. Main Responsibilities 1. Inventory Control Implement and supervise periodic cycle counts. Reconcile physical inventory with system records. Identify and report discrepancies. Detect slow-moving and obsolete inventory. Establish preventive loss controls. 2. Receiving and Inbound Control Verify that received merchandise matches purchase orders and invoices. Ensure accurate system registration of incoming products. Report and resolve supplier discrepancies. Supervise proper storage practices. 3. Outbound and Transfers Control Ensure all product exits are properly recorded. Supervise warehouse-to-store replenishment. Validate internal transfers between locations. Implement authorization and documentation controls. 4. Purchasing Support and Replenishment Planning Analyze product turnover rates. Suggest replenishment quantities based on sales data and seasonality. Prevent stock-outs and overstock situations. Monitor critical and high-demand products. 5. Operational Supervision Review system registration processes. Support cash register reconciliation when necessary. Detect operational irregularities. Report findings directly to the owner. 6. Process Improvement Develop and implement operational procedures. Document workflows. Propose logistics and organizational improvements.
Candidate Profile Languages:
Fluent in English and Spanish (required) — must be able to communicate with staff, suppliers, and customers, and handle documentation in both languages.
Education:
Studies in Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
Inventory control, receiving verification, POS or inventory systems.
Technical Knowledge:
Cycle counting, reconciliation, inbound/outbound control, intermediate Excel.
Core Competencies:
Responsibility, analytical thinking, organization, integrity, clear communication, assertiveness. Performance Indicators (KPIs) Inventory accuracy rate. Reduction of stock-outs. Reduction of obsolete inventory. Compliance with recording procedures. Improvement in replenishment timing. Job Conditions Operational and administrative role. Frequent warehouse presence. Periodic store supervision. Direct reporting to the owner.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
