What we're looking for… Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. Entry level candidates Proficient with CargoWise (preferred), strong organization, follow up and communication skills. We are a professional extension of your operation in the eyes of your suppliers and customers . About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Handle bookings from oversees agents, coordinate the move to destination Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments in CargoWise daily by checking the carrier's website. Creates and maintains customer profiles in CargoWise with detailed customer information. Maintains effective communication with internal and external parties. Tracking and Documenting shipments Follow up on shipments to ensure proper timing Negotiate rates for inland trucking ISF filing Breakbulk Creates invoices to be processed for billing purposes. Addresses internal and external inquiries and directs to the correct department if needed. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, in person, 9am-5pm
