The Supply Chain Coordinator monitors shipments from creation of purchase order to delivery at our dock. The coordinator will use phones and email to communicate with vendors, shippers, and others. A variety of computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Dynamics GP are utilized. The coordinator tracks orders, shipments, and reports progress.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all inbound import traffic, track all shipments. As instructed by Supply Chain Manager, issue purchase orders to vendors (requires daily communication with import vendors).
• Approve and manage all import shipment costs (Sea and Air), provide analysis to management.
• Work with brokers and customs for clearance.
• Work with shippers to get orders delivered to our warehouse
• Candidate must be motivated to learn, able to work in multi-task environment.
• Will be required to negotiate best terms with all carriers, inbound and outbound.
• Will be cross trained in buying, receiving, and inventory control Job (skill) Requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and email
• Effectively multi-task while dealing with multiple interruptions
• Ability to gain knowledge of shipping, HTSUS categories, duty rates
• Work as a member of a team

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
