Role and Responsibilities Under the direction of the ___Inventory Supervisor__, the Inventory Analyst performs periodic inventory counting, receives and ships materials into and out of inventory and enters related data into logs/software. Ensures timely execution of shipments and accuracy of all data entry for orders, receipts and shipments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Weekly reporting on FEFO stock, giving analysis and communication to Supervisor / Manager
- Work with customer on inventory mock audits
- Submit required cycle counts to inventory department crew.
- Review items conversation sent out by customer or central team.
- Root Cause analysis of adjustments, damages, expired product
- Review inventory receipts for accuracy and work to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage weekly inventory reconciliation with Operations team.
- Day-to-day general administrative tasks.
- Develop and compile statistical and descriptive reports, inventory summary sheets and detailed reports.
- Help Oversee and direct both monthly and yearly Physical inventory reconciliations.
- Disposition of excess and destruct inventory.
- Initiate conversation with management and cross functional partners to provide recommendations.
- Re-Cubing new product and analyzing new product data for discrepancy.
- Works closely with Supervisors and Managers
- Oversee that the stock management check list is being completed in a timely manner.
