Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Data Entry / Inventory Controls specialist and join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, maintaining, and analyzing inventory data to ensure seamless receiving and distribution, procurement, and logistics processes. Your expertise will help optimize inventory control, streamline operations, and support strategic decision-making through data analytics and process improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in inventory management systems, supply chain analytics, and cross-functional communication while contributing to the efficiency of our distribution network. Responsibilities Accurately enter and update inventory data using a NCR based management software, ERP systems, and spreadsheets like Excel for data analysis and reporting Conduct data mining and analysis to identify discrepancies, root causes of inventory issues, and opportunities for process improvements Manage logistics inventory control by monitoring stock levels, shipping & receiving records, and order fulfillment processes Support procurement activities by sourcing materials, analyzing pricing trends, and assisting with supplier management and contract negotiations Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to create insightful reports on demand planning, stock movements, and supply chain performance Collaborate with operations teams to optimize stocking strategies, materials handling procedures, and production planning efforts Perform regular audits of inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inspections, and reconciliation efforts to maintain optimal warehouse efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software (ERP systems like AS400 or similar), or operations Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau Knowledge of supply chain management principles including demand planning, procurement, logistics, and materials handling Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements based on data insights Familiarity with technical tools such as MRP systems (Material Requirements Planning), AS400 platforms, or other warehouse management systems Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with sourcing teams, logistics providers (3PL), and internal departments Physical ability to perform materials handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary Strong math skills combined with analytical thinking for financial modeling, pricing strategies, and inventory control measures Join us today to be part of a forward-thinking organization committed to operational excellence! Pay:
