Full Job Description Job Type:
Full-Time Exempt Compensation:
$57,700, inclusive of $51,700 starting salary and monthly $450 vehicle and $50 phone stipend. Looking to start your career in a dynamic environment that gives you experience in public relations, sales, project management, and public speaking? Looking for a rewarding career opportunity that improves the lives of children, their families, and the entire community? Are you a people-person who doesn't want to sit in an office making cold calls all day? Grand Canyon Council, the Arizona-based nonprofit that represents Scouting America in Phoenix and most of Arizona, seeks energetic and inquisitive candidates for the role of Field Executive. A Field Executive is a full-time employee (salary + benefits) who works with fellow staff and volunteers to grow and support Scouting programs in the local community. We'll teach you how to work with community organizations to start new Cub Scout packs and Scout troops and we'll work together to provide more youth with opportunities to be Scouts and to discover their path in life. Our work environment is dynamic, and this is not a 9-5 office-based job. Our team is out in the community meeting with other community leaders and every day is different. Depending on the availability of our volunteers, some evening and weekend work is required. Benefits include $51,700 starting salary, full medical/dental insurance, 403(b) (with matching after first year of service), and cell phone and mileage reimbursement. We offer 13 paid holidays, paid sick time, and 12 days of PTO (rising to 24 annually, with tenure). Our professional development plan includes onboarding, initial training, and ongoing annual supplemental growth. This is a great position for someone early in their career (or beginning their second career) who wants to develop a broad-based skillset and network that they can leverage for their next career opportunity. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can comfortably use technologies like web apps and office software, and is motivated to achieve goals. A valid Driver License, 4-year degree from an accredited college/university, and ability to be legally employed in the United States are required for this position. To learn more, contact Matthew Hill and email a resume and cover letter indicating your interest to . Previous experience in Scouting is NOT necessary, but energy & enthusiasm are required.
