Approximately 13 employees and volunteers Position Summary The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of the YWCA of Oil City and is responsible for advancing the organization's mission, strategic direction, financial sustainability, and community impact. Working in partnership with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides leadership for all aspects of operations, including staff supervision, grant development, fundraising, membership growth, financial management, program oversight, community relations, and facility operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Management Provide visionary leadership that advances the mission and goals of the YWCA. Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the Board of Directors. Foster a positive, inclusive, and mission-driven organizational culture. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. Represent the organization within the community and at public events. Board Relations Serve as the primary liaison between staff and the Board of Directors. Attend and participate in Board and committee meetings. Provide regular reports regarding finances, operations, programs, and strategic initiatives. Support Board development, recruitment, and governance activities. Financial Management & Accounting Develop and manage the annual operating budget. Monitor revenues, expenditures, cash flow, and financial performance. Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Coordinate audits, tax filings, and financial reviews. Grant Writing & Fund Development Identify, research, and pursue grant opportunities. Prepare and submit grant proposals and reports. Lead fundraising initiatives and donor stewardship efforts. Diversify revenue streams to support sustainability with board oversight and approval of any new initiatives. Human Resources & Staff Management Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff. Provide leadership and professional development opportunities. Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service. Membership Development & Community Engagement Maintain and grow YWCA membership through outreach and engagement. Develop strategies to increase member retention and participation. Build partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and agencies. Program & Facility Oversight Ensure high-quality programming aligned with the YWCA mission. Evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for growth. Oversee facility operations, maintenance, safety, and security. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of two years of progressively responsible leadership or management experience. Experience with budgeting, financial management, and nonprofit operations. Grant writing and fundraising experience. Strong supervisory and communication skills.
