Job Description

About the Role Are you a process-minded, analytical leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and mentoring teams? Imerys is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to lead and execute strategic operational initiatives at our Andersonville plant. In this role, you will work closely with site leadership and shopfloor teams to identify inefficiencies, implement Lean and Six Sigma frameworks, monetize cost savings, and foster a culture of continuous learning. This position is an ideal growth opportunity for a high-potential professional looking to make a visible, high-impact contribution across a 200-person operation.
Key Responsibilities Drive Operational Excellence:
Identify opportunity areas, construct project deliverables, and execute initiatives using proven Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
Leadership & Influence:
Partner effectively with site management and floor teams, providing updates, data analysis, and strategic recommendations to achieve site goals.
Coach & Mentor:
Train, coach, and develop direct reports and cross-functional associates in problem-solving techniques and Lean toolsets.
Assess & Monetize Impact:
Track continuous improvement project metrics, assess real-time performance impact, and translate operational efficiencies into financial savings (P&L impact).
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as the internal subject matter expert and change agent for plant-wide process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Continuous Improvement Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma practices.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, quality, or process-driven leadership roles within manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial services.
Strong Communication:
Proven ability to engage, influence, and build trust across all organizational levels without direct authority.
Analytical & Data Skills:
Proficiency in data analysis, basic financial metrics (P&L understanding), and problem-solving tools.
Safety Commitment:
Demonstrated commitment to site safety standards and practices.
On-Site Availability:
100% on-site presence in Andersonville, GA.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Familiarity with Google Workspace / business productivity tools.
Pay:
$76,473.66 - $92,097.30 per year Application Question(s): Do you now or will you in the future require sponsorship to work in the US?
