Prior logistics experience is not required. The operational work, systems, and processes can be taught. The successful candidate must bring strong IT/Data Analytics /Computer skills, organization, discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and follow direction. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional with a background or strong interest in information technology, business, analytics, operations, supply chain, or consulting. VibroXpress actively uses technology, AI, automation, data, and standardized processes to improve operational performance. This is not a desk-only position. The employee will work both inside at a computer and outside in the fleet shed and parking lot. Key Responsibilities Support daily logistics operations from morning startup through evening closeout. Assist with driver launch, vehicle assignments, dispatch coordination, and end-of-day closeout. Maintain accurate schedules, trackers, reports, checklists, and operational documentation. Use Microsoft Excel to organize data, perform basic analysis, identify exceptions, and prepare reports. Create professional documents and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Learn and operate multiple logistics, fleet, dispatch, scheduling, attendance, and performance systems. Coordinate with drivers, fleet personnel, dispatchers, and company leadership. Track vehicle assignments, parking locations, charging, fueling, cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness. Assist with vehicle inspections, damage documentation, cleaning checks, and preventive-maintenance tracking. Verify that vehicles are properly parked, charged or fueled, clean, documented, and prepared for the next operating day. Maintain organized digital and physical files for vehicles, employees, inspections, maintenance, and operational records. Help convert operating instructions into clear trackers, checklists, and repeatable procedures. Support attendance, performance, route, fleet, and operational reporting. Use AI and automation tools to improve reporting, communication, documentation, and recurring workflows. Provide clear status updates to leadership and escalate unresolved issues promptly. Support special projects and process-improvement initiatives as assigned. Required Qualifications Strong comfort level working on a computer throughout the day. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Email. Ability to learn new software and digital platforms quickly. Strong organization and attention to detail. Basic data-analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand instructions and execute them accurately. Ability to take direction, accept feedback, and follow established processes. Strong follow-through and ability to complete recurring responsibilities consistently. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable interacting with drivers, operational employees, and company leadership. Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors. Preferred Background Recent college graduate in information technology, business, analytics, operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field. Internship or early-career experience in consulting, project coordination, operations, administration, or data analysis. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar tools. Strong interest in AI, automation, process improvement, and technology-enabled operations. Availability and Flexibility Must have reliable and flexible availability to support changing operational needs. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional extended shifts when required. Comfortable adjusting the work schedule based on business volume and operating priorities. Must be dependable during critical morning launch and evening closeout periods. Overtime, when required, will be managed in accordance with company policy and applicable law. Work Environment This is a hands-on operational role that requires movement between different work settings throughout the day.
The employee must be comfortable:
Completing computer-based reporting and administrative work inside the office. Supporting drivers and operational activity on-site. Working in the fleet shed and parking lot. Walking between vehicles and parking areas. Assisting with vehicle readiness, inspections, keys, charging, cleaning, and parking. Working outside in varying weather conditions when operational support is required. The person should be able to: Learn unfamiliar systems quickly. Turn verbal direction into organized action. Build and maintain trackers, checklists, and documentation. Follow through without repeated reminders. Ask appropriate questions when clarification is needed. Work independently after receiving clear direction. Maintain accuracy during fast-paced and extended operating periods. Bring consistency, visibility, and accountability to daily operations.
