Job Description

Job Summary:
The Process Technician oversees the operation, maintenance, and optimization of production processes within a manufacturing environment. This role involves ensuring all processes are running efficiently and implementing improvements to achieve production goals. The Process Technician is also responsible for troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience as a requirement. A strong understanding of process control systems, equipment, and manufacturing techniques is essential. Excellent problem- solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret process data effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the production process, from setup through to completion. Monitor and control process parameters to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Mentor service technician(s) by providing guidance, training, and support. Schedule and delegate tasks to appropriate team members, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets. Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Develop and execute process optimization strategies and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with maintenance teams to address and resolve process issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues. Ensure that all equipment is calibrated and functioning according to specifications. Ensure all processes adhere to safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of process parameters, changes, and incidents. Document and communicate process performance, improvements, and best practices.
Requirements of Job:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds including equipment and tools. Capability to stand and walk for extended periods during process monitoring and troubleshooting. Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch to access equipment and work in confined spaces. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating controls and handling equipment. Ability to visually inspect equipment and process parameters, and to read technical documentation. Ability to climb ladders or use elevated platforms as needed for equipment maintenance or inspections. Ability to follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure team adherence to safety standards.
