JOB OBJECTIVE
: The Car Wash Manager in Training under training and supervision from the Carwash Supervisor is responsible for driving top-line car wash revenue while ensuring the site operates efficiently and safely. This role leads day-to-day operations, staffing, and training with a strong focus on converting traffic into wash purchases, growing unlimited/membership enrollments, and increasing average ticket through upsells, upgrades, and add-on services. The Manager in Training is accountable for meeting sales goals by actively greeting customers, recommending the best wash, and coaching the team on closing techniques and on-site promotions to build loyalty and repeat visits, while maintaining a clean, reliable, well-merchandised, and fully operating facility that delivers exceptional customer experience. A Car Wash Manager in Training is expected to work various work schedules and days with a half-hour lunch break, remain available by phone for emergencies, and be in communication with their supervisor. Once the Car Wash Manager in Training is complete with training program, they will be responsible for managing the carwash site. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive car wash revenue by converting traffic into wash purchases, increasing average ticket through upgrades/add-ons, and growing unlimited/membership enrollments. Lead and coach front-line selling and service behaviors; conduct spot checks, provide real-time feedback/role-play, and hold the team accountable to daily/weekly goals. Monitor key sales and operating metrics (car count, conversion, membership sales, refunds, labor) and adjust staffing, training, and execution to improve results. Execute on-site promotions and local initiatives (signage, offers, community/vendor programs) to build loyalty and repeat visits. Ensure equipment and site readiness (DRB, wash, vacuums); complete daily walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness, merchandising, and full operation. Maintain safety, security, and asset protection; ensure compliance with company policies and that the site is Core-ready (minimum 95% inspection score). Manage inventory and ordering of soaps/chemicals to support uninterrupted operations and sales. Hire, train, and develop employees (Brinks Results); lead staff meetings focused on safety, team performance, and sales execution. Prepare schedules to meet labor targets and support peak sales periods; complete required daily logs and maintain accurate employee documentation. Support site for coverage
QUALIFICATIONS
Possesses managerial experience with at least one year management experience in related field. Have the ability to effectively supervise and motivate employees in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good cash handling skills. Requires an individual who must relate positively with employees, the public and government personnel. Be able to use operational tools to manage business. Possess a valid driver's license and an automobile in good working condition, which may be used for company business.
