Operations Manager
Job Description
We are a family-run prune and walnut growing and packing operation in the Yuba City area looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our packing company. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation, manage our team, and make sure production runs efficiently and smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee all prune and walnut production and packing
- Manage production staff and department managers
- Oversee inventory and production scheduling
- Oversee quality control, food safety, sanitation, and pest control
- Monitor production, efficiency, labor, and costs
- Work closely with ownership and keep us informed of issues and priorities
- Identify problems and make sure they get resolved
Qualifications:
- Experience managing a packing or food-processing operation
- Dried fruit and/or nut experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Hands-on and comfortable being involved in the day-to-day operation
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Yuba City area We are looking for someone local, experienced, practical, and dependable who can lead our team and take responsibility for the overall operation.
Pay:
$100,000.00- $150,000.
