Job Summary Leak Tight Analysis (LTA) is seeking an experienced Deputy Operations Director to help lead the day-to-day operations of our Florida facility. This is a hands-on senior leadership position responsible for coordinating and supporting our shop, cleanroom, NDE/NDT, field operations, project management, and office teams. The Deputy Operations Director will work closely with company leadership and department managers to ensure work is properly prioritized, staffed, scheduled, and executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer, quality, and technical requirements. This position requires someone who can manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced aerospace and industrial services environment while maintaining strong attention to schedule, labor utilization, documentation, quality, and customer commitments. We are looking for a leader who is comfortable being actively involved in daily operations—not simply managing from an office. The right candidate will provide clear direction to managers and employees, identify and resolve operational issues, develop less-experienced leaders, improve processes, and help create the structure and accountability necessary to consistently deliver quality work on time. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of LTA's Florida operations. Lead, support, and develop department managers and project managers across multiple operational functions. Establish daily and weekly priorities and ensure work is properly staffed, scheduled, and executed. Maintain visibility of active projects, customer commitments, schedules, and operational priorities. Ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and other resources are effectively allocated to support project requirements. Monitor operational performance, including productivity, labor utilization, quality, and on-time completion. Identify operational challenges and work with managers and senior leadership to develop practical solutions. Promote accountability, communication, teamwork, and consistent execution throughout the organization. Ensure operations are performed safely and in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards. Support employee training, development, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in customer meetings, project planning, audits, and other activities requiring operational leadership. Work closely with senior management to support company goals, growth, and overall operational effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience. Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, aerospace, industrial services, or a related technical environment. Demonstrated experience leading managers and multidisciplinary operational teams. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project execution. Experience working in a quality-driven, regulated, or technically demanding environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to set expectations, develop managers, and hold teams accountable. Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, customers, and senior leadership. High level of integrity, professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
