$52,000-$72,800 per year, plus performance bonuses Position Overview Patriot Emergency Medical Services is seeking an experienced EMS Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Sugar Hill station. This position is responsible for leading station personnel, maintaining operational readiness, supporting high-quality patient care, and ensuring that assigned units and crews meet company expectations. The ideal candidate combines hands-on EMS experience with proven management ability. Candidates must have prior field experience as an EMT or higher and previous experience managing employees, teams, or operations. Patriot EMS is an independently owned ambulance and medical transportation agency serving communities throughout Georgia. Primary Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the Sugar Hill station. Provide direct leadership, coaching, and accountability to assigned EMTs and other station personnel. Assist with employee scheduling, shift coverage, attendance, and staffing needs. Monitor station performance and work toward established operational, service, and productivity goals. Ensure ambulances, equipment, supplies, and station facilities remain clean, stocked, and operationally ready. Respond to operational issues, employee concerns, call-outs, service problems, and other time-sensitive matters. Review documentation and reinforce compliance with company policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements. Support employee onboarding, orientation, training, and performance evaluations. Address performance or conduct concerns promptly and professionally. Promote a professional, respectful, and safety-focused workplace. Coordinate with company leadership, dispatch, billing, fleet, and other operational departments. Assist with field operations or unit coverage when operationally necessary. Maintain accurate station records and provide regular updates to company leadership. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee performance, customer service, and station reliability. Minimum Qualifications Prior professional experience working as an EMT, EMT-I, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic. Previous management or supervisory experience. Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage competing priorities, and resolve workplace issues. Strong understanding of EMS operations, documentation, patient care standards, and operational readiness. Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills. Ability to remain calm and effective during urgent or high-pressure situations. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to successfully complete required background, driving record, and employment screenings. Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to occasional after-hours operational needs. Preferred Qualifications Current Georgia EMS license or eligibility for Georgia licensure. Previous experience supervising ambulance, medical transportation, public safety, healthcare, or field-service personnel. Experience with employee scheduling, performance management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Familiarity with non-emergency ambulance transportation and interfacility transport operations. Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $52,000 to $72,800 , based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership ability. This position is also eligible for additional performance bonuses based on operational metrics , including station performance, staffing reliability, service quality, and other established company goals. Work Environment This is an active operational leadership position. The EMS Supervisor will divide their time between station administration, employee supervision, field support, and operational problem-solving. The successful candidate must be comfortable leading from the front and becoming directly involved when operational needs require it.
