Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for performing daily operational tasks and upkeep of the Southeast Region and its assets.
Specific areas include:
overseeing the retail store operations, coordinating food services needs, and hospitality services in daily operations. This position will also contribute to training summer staff in their respective fields, assisting the departments in projects, and ensuring the hospitality needs for the office and welcoming guests. Depending on the season, the position will spend approximately 40-50% with the Food Services Department, 30-40% with the Retail, and 10-30% of hours within Hospitality. Job Description:
Job Responsibilities Food Services (40-50%): Responsible for training summer staff cooks Responsible for oversight of PC standards of quality and excellence in serving meals Responsible for assisting with closing down camp kitchens at the end of summer Assist in the preparation of menu development and forecasting Retail (30-40%): Responsible for store preparation and restocking Receive, organize, distribute, tag, and enter inventory into the POS System Process gift packs, bunk boxes, and speaker gifts Train summer staff Order snack inventory Assist with year-end inventory Hospitality (10-30%): Facilitate communication of housing and people staying on property Coordinate the process of getting rooms cleaned and prepped for people staying on property Responsible for maintaining relationships with outside vendors who assist in our Hospitality process Job Qualifications Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Faith Maintain compliance with all Pine Cove policies and procedures during employment including the Staff Policy Handbook Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers, and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors Is self-motivated with a desire to serve and do all things with excellence Adjusts to changes in environment or schedule while maintaining a joyful attitude Possess a current driver's license and able to drive company vehicles as needed Bachelor's degree preferred Food Safety Certification preferred Minimum of 2 years experience in camping and administration The role will be based in Toccoa, GA Pine Cove exists to be used by God to transform the lives of people for His purposes and His glory!
