Hospitality Center Associate Location Coeur d'Alene, ID Facility Kootenai Health Department Hospitality Center Schedule/Shift/Hours Full Time - Days Category Service Hours Per Pay Period 80 = 1.0 Req #: 48766 Apply Now Save Job Saved Hospitality Center Associate Position Summary As a caretaker of the Davidson Family Hospitality Center, this position serves as the initial point of contact for families, volunteers, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. The position is responsible for various administrative tasks, including answering phones, coordinating check-ins, handling inquiries, and assisting with general office duties. Responsibilities Monitors the front desk area and lobby to ensure cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere Greets visitors, families, volunteers, and donors warmly and assists them with inquiries, check-ins, and general support Works with Social Workers and other Hospital staff to coordinate check-in with guests Monitors house for needed repairs, other maintenance issues and sufficient levels of supplies; notifies appropriate parties when resolution is needed Maintains accurate records of guest information, reservations, donations, and other relevant data, generating reports as required Performs various administrative tasks, including phone and email correspondence Assists with volunteer questions and support, and supports volunteer tasks as needed Cleans identified guest rooms per shift, typically 1-2 rooms, including changing linens and making beds, cleaning bathrooms, emptying and disposing of waste, restocking supplies, etc. Provides basic upkeep of the interior and exterior of the facility as needed Adheres to Kootenai Health policies and procedures, including confidentiality guidelines and safety protocols Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be 18 years of age or older Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or hospitality roles preferred Ability to navigate escalated situations with a positive attitude Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), basic IT equipment, and learning how to use new software tools Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Working Conditions Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position Must be able to stoop, crouch, or bend Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens
