Role Description The Water Mitigation Division Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH, responsible for leading and overseeing all water mitigation operations. This role includes managing field teams, coordinating schedules, and ensuring timely response to residential and commercial water damage calls. Daily tasks involve assessing job sites, developing mitigation plans, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards and company protocols. The manager will collaborate with customers, insurance representatives, and internal departments to provide clear communication, accurate documentation, and high-quality service. Additional responsibilities include training and mentoring staff, managing inventory and equipment, monitoring budgets and job profitability, and driving continuous improvement in processes and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Experience leading water mitigation, restoration, or related field operations, including supervising teams and managing multiple projects. Knowledge of water damage assessment, structural drying techniques, and use of mitigation equipment; IICRC (WRT, ASD, AMRT - at minimum) certifications are required. Strong organizational and planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and job documentation, including reports and project records. Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with property owners, insurance adjusters, and internal stakeholders. Ability to make sound decisions in emergencies, troubleshoot issues on job sites, and maintain safety and compliance standards. Basic business and financial acumen, including understanding job costing, budgeting, and profitability in a service environment. Proficiency with common office and field software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, restoration/job management platforms) and digital documentation tools. Ability to perform the physical demands of on-site work, including standing, walking, and lifting equipment as needed, with appropriate safety practices. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or coursework in restoration, construction, or management is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; clean driving record preferred.
