Job Description

About the Role As a Production Processing Lead, you will oversee the critical batching and blending operations that drive our high-volume manufacturing output. You will champion a culture of safety and operational excellence, ensuring that our complex liquid processing systems consistently meet rigorous quality and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Direct the daily activities of the processing team, managing bulk ingredient procurement, receiving, and complex batching operations to ensure seamless production flow. Drive operational efficiency by monitoring key performance indicators such as yield loss, labor costs, and departmental overhead, implementing improvements to meet financial targets. Ensure total compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols, including hazardous materials handling, confined space entry, and explosion-proof equipment standards. Lead root cause analysis and accident investigations to maintain a zero-incident work environment while fostering a proactive safety culture. Coordinate resource allocation, including staffing and tankage management, to align with bottling schedules and optimize throughput. Perform internal audits of inventory, equipment calibration, and system transactions to guarantee data integrity and regulatory reporting accuracy. Mentor team members through professional development plans, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages skill growth and high performance. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in managing process operations, receiving, and material handling. Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in MS Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. Preferred Skills Prior experience in the beverage, alcohol, or CPG manufacturing sectors. Background in managing operations within a unionized workforce. Familiarity with inventory control systems and perpetual inventory management. Technical knowledge of beverage processing equipment, filtration, and blending systems.
