Guest Experience Coordinator
Job Description
About Moofy's Farmhouse Moofy's is a 40-bedroom property on Maryland's Eastern Shore that hosts corporate retreats, team-building getaways, and family gatherings. Our 18-acre estate offers a variety of indoor and outdoor amenities to adapt to group goals for play, connection, and reflection. Our guests return for our warmth, attention to detail, and the feeling of home away from home —and our Guest Experience Coordinator plays a key role in that mission. Job Summary We're seeking an exceptional, people-oriented Guest Experience Coordinator to serve as Moofy's point person - helping guests plan their stay, welcoming arrivals, hosting activities, coordinating catering, and providing concierge services. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is ideal for an accomplished hospitality professional who loves creating a personalized and unforgetable guest experience. Key Responsibilities Pre-Arrival Planning Work with guests pre-arrival to build customized itineraries. Arrange transportation and coordinate catering, activities, housekeeping, and excursions with staff and vendors. Spot opportunities to enhance stays via upgrades and add-on services. Hosting Welcome and check in guests; orient them to the property, including water and animal safety guidelines. Serve as an approachable hospitality presence throughout each stay. Proactively check in with guests and resolve requests. Activities & Events Coordinate and host onsite activities (e.g., kayaking, pool, fire pit, art studio, farm-animal visits, etc.). Prep activity spaces and coordinate outside vendors. Support special events, celebrations, and corporate retreats. Catering & Hospitality Coordinate catering details — guest counts, dietary needs, setup, service — with guests and partners. Oversee the guest-facing portion of catered meals and bar service. Ensure event spaces are properly prepared. Concierge Services Assist with reservations, local recommendations, transportation, and excursions. Offer personalized suggestions to help guests make the most of their stay.
