Full-Time Janitorial Manager | Cleaning Operations Manager We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Janitorial Manager to lead and oversee a large-scale cleaning operation in Byhalia, Mississippi . This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with experience managing janitorial and cleaning teams in a fast-paced environment. The Janitorial Manager will be responsible for overseeing employees across three shifts of operation , maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, managing staffing and schedules, inspecting work, training team members, and ensuring the operation runs efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong background in janitorial management, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities cleaning operations and is comfortable working a split-shift schedule to provide leadership coverage across multiple shifts. What You'll Do

• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate janitorial and cleaning staff
• Oversee cleaning operations across three shifts
• Work a split-shift schedule to provide operational leadership and support when needed
• Create and manage employee schedules, staffing assignments, lunches, and breaks
• Assign daily responsibilities and inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identify cleaning, maintenance, or operational needs
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, safety standards, and proper PPE use
• Coach and redirect employees to improve performance and maintain company standards
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, quality, and operational efficiency
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ensure cleaning equipment is safe and in proper working condition
• Coordinate equipment repairs and replacement when necessary
• Conduct employee meetings, safety briefings, and ongoing training
• Respond to operational issues and help resolve employee or client concerns
• Assist with administrative responsibilities, including payroll and staffing coordination
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable safety requirements
• Communicate regularly with operations leadership and other members of management
• Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
• At least 5 years of leadership experience supervising janitorial or cleaning staff
• Previous experience managing teams in a janitorial, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, facilities, or similar environment
• Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and hold employees accountable
• Willingness and ability to work a split-shift schedule
• Ability to oversee and support three shifts of operation
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience with employee scheduling and staffing
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and cleaning procedures
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with management and team members
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screening Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Janitorial Manager, Cleaning Manager, Custodial Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Facilities Manager, or Operations Manager
• Experience managing a large janitorial or commercial cleaning team
• Experience with payroll, employee scheduling, and administrative responsibilities
• Experience conducting employee training and safety meetings
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and proper PPE requirements
