General Manager of Aerial AdventureEstimated Start Fall 2026. Position remains open until filled. Compensation Salary starting at $80,000+, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and PTO. Employment Type & Classification Full-Time, Year-Round, Salaried (Exempt) Work Hours Generally 40-50 hours per week with seasonal variation based on operational needs. Availability Requirements Dynamic, based on the needs of the position. Travel Requirements Travel as required for conferences, training, and related business activities. Lodging and mileage paid by Navitat. Typical travel does not exceed 24 days annually. Benefits Health care 7 paid holidays Accruing PTO program Complimentary passes for friends and family ProDeal discounts Professional development and industry conferences Reports To Ownership Oversees Operations Manager Sales & Marketing Manager About the Role The General Manager leads Navitat's aerial adventure operations, infrastructure, and organizational development, executing the owners vision. This position is head leadership for operations, infrastructure, maintenance, inspections, training, risk management, personnel, and the guest experience. It combines business development and evolutions with regular involvement in adventure course operations, inspections, and maintenance. The successful candidate exercises initiative, solves practical technical operations problems, identifying opportunities to improve systems. The candidate is creative, and ready for evolution and something extraordinary. Primary Responsibilities Execute Ownership's vision through daily operations and long-term organizational development. Lead adventure operations, infrastructure, maintenance, inspections, and risk management. Supervise, develop, and evaluate management and operational staff. Maintain and improve operational systems, policies, training programs, and documentation. Oversee aerial courses, buildings, roads, utilities, fleet, grounds, and supporting infrastructure. Provide technical leadership for aerial adventure systems, fall-protection equipment, braking systems, and controlled descent devices. Recruit, hire, train, and develop employees. Coordinate contractors, vendors, insurance claims, inspections, and regulatory compliance. Continually improve operations, infrastructure, safety, efficiency, and guest experience. Collaborate with Ownership on capital improvements and strategic initiatives. Secondary Responsibilities Maintain maintenance, inspection, training, and incident documentation. Maintain equipment inventories and retirement records. Support Navitat Knoxville projects as needed. Represent Navitat at industry meetings and conferences. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Exercises sound judgment under pressure. Possesses organizational and leadership skills. Resides within approximately 20 minutes of Navitat Minimum 4 years of management experience Extensive outdoor leadership or technical field experience. Adventure or outdoor guiding experience. Excellent spatial awareness and mechanical problem-solving ability. Ability to communicate technical information clearly. Preferred Qualifications Spanish Fluency Drawing or sketching skills.
