Position Summary Maxell Corporation of America is seeking an Operations Manager, OEM to lead and oversee global and domestic OEM customer operations across the energy, optical components, and automotive lens business groups. This role manages customer requirements, forecasting, production planning support, procurement coordination, inventory, logistics, accounts receivable activity, and related operational transactions. The Operations Manager, OEM works closely with customers, intercompany partners, suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely operational support. Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day OEM operations supporting global and domestic customers across the energy, optical components, and automotive lens business groups.
• Monitor customer orders, shipment status, inventory availability, forecast changes, and supply chain activity to identify risks and coordinate timely resolution.
• Oversee forecasting, production planning support, import/export activity.
• Manage procurement and inventory levels to support customer requirements while maintaining alignment with company inventory budgets.
• Coordinate import and export activity, including required import security filings and delivery schedules, with designated freight forwarders.
• Manage receivables for assigned OEM business groups and partners with customers and internal teams to support payment within established terms.
• Lead, train, mentor, and provide direction to OEM Operations team members to support departmental and company objectives.
• Manage OEM logistics issues involving third-party logistics providers, including transportation, warehousing, just-in-time and first-in-first-out processes.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions that strengthen service, efficiency, reporting, and operational performance.
• Ensure operational processes comply with SOX requirements, company policies, customer-specific procedures, import/export requirements, internal controls, and applicable legal standards. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
• At least 5 years of relevant operations, supply chain, customer support, or OEM experience.
• Experience leading, training, and developing a team.
• Strong understanding of supply chain requirements supporting medical, automotive, infrastructure, or contract manufacturing business models.
• Experience with forecasting, budget planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, import coordination, and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to work effectively across Sales, Accounts Receivable, Information Technology, Compliance, Supply Chain, customers, suppliers, and intercompany teams.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics and document-management systems is preferred. Compensation & Benefits
• $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience
