About Us:

Onward Publishing is a creative content agency based in Northport. for more than 20 years, we've specialized in writing, designing, and producing print, digital, and video content that informs and engages customers across various industries, including healthcare, education, and financial services. We are looking to hire an accounting/business manager to work with our creative team to estimate client projects and assess projections, while also providing overall business intelligence and reporting. Will need to handle bookkeeping, creating estimates and invoices, and working with the independent accounting agency for tax accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments Handle payroll processing and related tax filings Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting Detailed analysis of financial performance, including making recommendations on pricing and project profitability as needed Work with independent accounting firm to create monthly reports

Qualifications:

Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial analysis Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks), Dropbox and creating Excel spreadsheets Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks​ Experience working in a creative or service-oriented industry Open to collaboration to refine processes

Pay:

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
