Executive Leadership Position Summary EkoMovers is seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to lead operations across all moving and relocation services, with a primary focus on Affordable Housing Relocation projects nationwide . This leader will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, profitable, and high-quality operations to our nationwide affordable housing projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, launch, and execution of Affordable Housing relocation projects nationwide . Oversee operations Managers, dispatch, drivers, crew leaders, and movers. Ensure projects are properly staffed, scheduled, equipped, and executed. Develop and enforce consistent operational standards and SOPs across all service lines. Monitor productivity, labor costs, project profitability, claims, safety, and customer satisfaction. Reduce claims and service failures through training, accountability, and root-cause corrective actions. Recruit, train, develop, and hold operational teams accountable. Maintain strong relationships with clients, property managers, developers, relocation partners, and residents. Travel to project launches and operationally challenging projects as needed. Partner with Sales and Executive Leadership to ensure operational capacity supports company growth. Key Performance Metrics Success will be measured by project profitability, schedule performance, labor efficiency, claims reduction, customer/client satisfaction, safety, crew productivity, and operational readiness . Qualifications 7+ years of operations leadership experience in moving, relocation, logistics, transportation, construction, restoration, multifamily housing, or a similar field-service environment. Proven experience managing multiple teams, projects, and locations. Strong leadership, scheduling, project management, and problem-solving skills. Financial understanding of labor management, budgets, margins, and operational KPIs. Strong client communication and team-development skills. Ability to travel nationally as required.
