Job Overview Ladneir Healthcare Service LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor / Lead DSP to join our leadership team. This position is ideal for an experienced Direct Support Professional ready to advance into a leadership role. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff, assisting with scheduling, maintaining DODD compliance, reviewing documentation, supporting employees, communicating with guardians and Support Administrators, and helping ensure our daily operations run smoothly. This position also participates in a shared on-call rotation with other supervisors. Occasionally, supervisors may provide direct support coverage when staffing needs arise.

$16.00-$19.00 per hour

Weekly Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is more than an experienced DSP. We're looking for a leader. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to make sound decisions under pressure. They communicate professionally with employees, guardians, Support Administrators, nurses, and other professionals. They lead by example, hold staff accountable with respect, and help create a positive work environment. This individual is flexible, willing to step in when needed, and committed to maintaining high-quality services and compliance with DODD regulations. They understand that leadership is about supporting the team, solving problems, and ensuring the individuals we serve receive the best care possible. Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Assist with employee scheduling and staffing coverage. Participate in a shared on-call rotation with other supervisors. Fill open shifts only when necessary. Conduct home visits and staff observations. Review documentation, communication logs, MARs, and EVV records. Ensure employees follow Individual Service Plans (ISPs), agency policies, and DODD regulations. Administer medications when required. Maintain professionalism while addressing employee concerns and workplace issues. Communicate effectively with guardians, Support Administrators, nurses, physicians, and other professionals. Keep detailed notes of conversations, meetings, and follow-up actions. Assist with incident reporting and corrective action. Attend agency meetings and required training. Help maintain compliance with DODD rules, Medicaid requirements, and agency policies. Lead by example and promote a positive team environment. Experience & QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED. Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). Valid Ohio driver's license. No more than five (5) points on driving record. Reliable vehicle registered in your name. Current automobile insurance. Ability to pass all required Ohio background checks. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to read, write, and follow directions. Ability to work independently and solve problems. Flexible schedule. Willingness to complete agency-required training. Preferred Previous supervisory or leadership experience. Medication Administration Certification. CPR and First Aid Certification. Experience working with DODD providers. Knowledge of EVV documentation. Experience communicating with guardians and Support Administrators.
