Job Summary:
Our company is looking for an experienced Administrator with a background in UAS and aviation/aerospace to facilitate the growth of an entrepreneurial technology-development company. This role will drive the research and development roadmap for the company with focus on growth and value creation in the unmanned and autonomous systems market. The successful candidate MUST have experience in business development and project management with a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the aerospace/aviation industry generally, and ideally unmanned and autonomous systems.
Qualifications :
  • Background in aviation/aerospace required
  • Experience and exposure to autonomous and unmanned systems required
  • Basic understanding of creating and monetizing value and intellectual property
  • Experience in working with regulatory agencies
  • primarily the FAA
  • Experience in management and administration of small to mid-sized companies.
  • Working knowledge of addressable markets, segment stakeholders, and key sectors in: § Precision and Regenerative Agriculture § Weather Science and Atmospherics § Emergency Response and Disaster Recovery § Above and Below Ground Utility Line Safety, Surveillance and Repair § Energy/Pipeline Safety and Surveillance § Autonomous and Unmanned Ground-Based and Aerial Systems, including but not limited to unmanned traffic management•A balanced, integrated understanding and experience in business development and successful operations.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office required (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT, etc.)

  • Coordinating and scheduling research, demonstration and development activities and/or projects
  • Identify synergistic and strategic partnership opportunities and strategic alliances in an effort to grow the business(es) and aid in company growth
  • Responsible for orchestrating key functions.
  • Facilitate and nurture multi-disciplinary teams, formulating actionable goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate strong, cooperative relationships among public, private, and academic stakeholders.
  • Produce professionally written proposals and communications for prospective business and partnerships
  • Lead strategic planning for marketing and business development
  • Review technical specifications and contract documentation for all projects.
  • Regularly provide innovative ideas, scenarios and solutions to support improvements in internal processes, quality of research and business development.
  • Provide Activity Reports of status and relevant updates on a regular basis
  • Oversight of field operations

  • Generate regular financial budgets and scenarios using, primarily, Excel spreadsheets.
