Field Supervisor Field Supervisor UCS - Boerne, TX 78006 Apply Apply Description Field Supervisor Job Description The Field Supervisor is responsible for controlling crew costs, including effective use of manpower, work methods, operation of equipment, etc. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise and manage Crew Members in the field. Lead daily safety briefings and inform crews of hazards or changes. Train, coach, and improve Crew Members' efficiency. Recruit, select, and train new hires as needed. Ensure safety compliance and report accidents or incidents. Monitor and report on safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and tardiness. Ensure Crew Members complete sign-in sheets and documentation. Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and damage. Respond to customer needs and resolve issues in the field. Assist with other project tasks as needed. Job Responsibilities The main role of the Field Supervisor is to manage a team of Crew Members to ensure the safety and quality of the Crew Members work. The position requires reporting, customer interaction, claims investigation, and any other management field activity that may arise. Meet with the Crew Members daily to perform job/safety briefing and inform the crews of any changes or hazards in their work. Train, coach, and improve the efficiency of all Crew Members reporting to the supervisor. Solicit, select, process, and train new hires as needed. Respond to the needs of internal and external customers as needed. Respond and report any accident or incident in the field. Conduct periodic vehicle inspections for safety compliance and damage assessment. Track and report daily; Safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and tardiness of field personnel, ensuring sign-in sheets are completed and filed. Assist with other project elements as directed. Work Location:
Must travel to different work locations as needed. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Must be able to wear necessary PPE as necessary. Must be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day. Must be able to traverse various terrains. Must be able to communicate with others. Must be able to maintain attention during dangerous tasks. Must be able to lift, move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis, and up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis. Must have sufficient eyesight to judge distances and coordination to get and use the appropriate equipment and tools. Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment. Must have transportation to and from the startup location. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be 18 years of age or older.
