Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Field Operations, the Division Director will oversee all operations at our Pleasanton, TX Well Servicing location. This leadership role is critical to the success of our field operations and is responsible for managing personnel, equipment, customer relationships and inventory while collaborating with internal departments daily. The Division Director will also assume fiscal responsibility for the division, including budgeting, cost control, and financial performance tracking to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with company objectives. This role provides operational leadership along with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency and team development. This role ensures Foremost Well Service adheres to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This role is expected to coordinate with ALL divisions, regardless of location, to add value as needed.
Supervision Duties:
Provides direct oversight of division Superintendents and shop staff; maintains a dotted line relationship with Safety, Inventory, Shop Human Resources and other various departments.
Summary of Duties:

Yard and Equipment Management:
- Oversee day-to-day yard operations, including fleet and rig readiness.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, compliant, and operationally efficient.
- Monitor utilization and coordinate logistics for mobilizing and demobilizing rigs and support equipment.
Customer Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer interactions within the division. Maintain strong client relationships and foster opportunities for business growth. Coordinate with the sales and business development team to support marketing efforts and customer outreach.
Team Management:
- Directly manage Rig Superintendents and ensure clear communication and accountability.
- Lead, train, and develop operations staff to maintain high performance and morale.
- Enforce operational procedures and ensure alignment with company standards and customer requirements.
- Partner with the Safety department to ensure compliance and company safety regulations.
- Support HR in workforce planning, hiring, disciplinary actions and employee development.
- Foster a safety-first culture with an emphasis on training, accountability and prevention.
Operational Management:
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement operational efficiencies.
- Serve as the escalation point for issue resolution in daily operations.
- Monitor KPIs and produce regular reports to senior leadership regarding performance, staffing, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Fiscal Management:
In conjunction with the CFO, manage the division's operating budget in alignment with company financial goals and directives. Monitor field and yard-level spending to ensure cost control, efficient use of resources, and adherence to budget constraints. Review and approve expenditures related to equipment maintenance, inventory, vendor services, and operational support. Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial performance, forecast costs, and identify areas for cost savings or operational improvements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of job costs, invoicing inputs, and resource utilization through company systems (e.g., FieldCap, Fleetio, KPA). Participate in capital planning discussions for rig upgrades, equipment purchases, and major yard investments. Uphold financial compliance standards and support audit processes as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Highly motivated and able to work independently and with a team. Proven leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on management style. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, clients and vendors. Organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Must be available for on-call support and flexible scheduling in response to operational needs.
Working Conditions:
Based in Pleasanton, TX and requires both office and field presence. Ability to work outside in various and extreme weather conditions. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and bend to access equipment and vehicles. Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time in an office setting. Exposure to chemicals, oils, grease, dust, fuel fumes or other irritants. Exposure to loud noise.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Drivers License required, CDL Preferred. 10+ years of experience in oilfield services, specifically well servicing preferred, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong understanding of well servicing operations, equipment and industry safety practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, ability to work in various software systems (Novara, Fleetio, Field Cap, etc).
