Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests from the moment they arrive. In this dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will help foster a warm, efficient environment that keeps guests returning time and again. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Manage guest reservations using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or property management systems (PMS). Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills. Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identification and payment details while providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing, and special requests, including performing night audits when required. Respond promptly to guest concerns or emergencies following hotel emergency procedures to ensure safety and satisfaction. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs swiftly and effectively. Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience, fostering positive guest relations throughout their stay. Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment. Proficiency with hotel management software such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus. Knowledge of hospitality reservation systems, front desk procedures, and hotel emergency protocols. Exceptional phone communication skills with professional phone etiquette. Ability to handle customer service issues with tact, patience, and problem-solving capabilities. Previous experience working in resort settings or hotels with night audit responsibilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with guest relations strategies to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
