Job Description

Job Summary In The Moment Decor is a luxury wedding and event decor company serving the Greater Houston area. We specialize in creating elevated event environments through draping, silk florals, backdrops, chandeliers, tablescapes, & more We are looking for an Event Operations Manager to help oversee operational side of our growing business, with varying hours per week depending on slow/busy months This is a hands-on position for someone who is highly organized, dependable, comfortable managing a team, and has experience working in weddings or events Responsibilities Maintain and organize the warehouse and inventory (Stafford location) Prepare and pack decor and inventory few days before each event Complete post-event cleanup, unpacking, and inventory organization Order approved inventory and supplies using links provided by owner Manage & be present for event-day venue setups and breakdowns, film finished decor Review event designs and decor plans with owner before event days Hire and coordinate event-day labor as needed Assist with digital marketing, including social media & email marketing Coordinate and manage quarterly venue open house Skills Previous experience in event planning, wedding events, venue operations, or a related field Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience managing or coordinating event staff Strong attention to detail Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks Comfortable working evenings and weekends when required Comfortable with physical event setup, breakdown, packing, and moving decor Reliable transportation Experience with weddings or South Asian/Desi events is a plus This Role Is a

Naturally takes ownership and doesn't need to be reminded about every task Can walk into a warehouse and figure out how to organize it efficiently Can manage a team calmly on a busy event day Notices details before they become problems Can look at a decor plan and understand what needs to happen operationally Is comfortable getting hands-on rather than only managing from a desk Enjoys the event industry and working behind the scenes to make events run smoothly Schedule Some warehouse, inventory, administrative, and marketing work will take place on your own schedule, event related work will be dependent on the event dates/times To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief description of your experience in the event, wedding, venue, or event production industry .
